One of the most common inquiries I get as a DeFi Kingdoms Knight is “How do I send my Harmony ONE from a major exchange (e.g. Binance) to my MetaMask?”. I hope this article will guide you well to start your Harmony journey.
Here are my assumptions as to how far you have gone in the process:
Step 1: Set up the Harmony RPC Endpoint in your MetaMask account.
a. Click the upper portion of your MetaMask and click “Custom RPC”.
b. Add this in the fields.
Network Name:
Harmony Mainnet
New RPC URL:
https://api.harmony.one
Chain ID:
1666600000
Currency Symbol:
ONE
Block Explorer URL:
https://explorer.harmony.one/
Step 2: Get your one1 address equivalent from the Harmony Explorer.
To do this, go to https://explorer.harmony.one/ and paste your 0x address.
Put your 0x address over at the search bar, and it will initially display your Address and Balance.
After that, press the three bars on the upper right of the explorer and switch the Address style from ETH -> Harmony.
Now, your 0x address was converted to an address that starts with one1.
(NOTE: Both addresses direct to the same account, it’s just a matter of format.)
Step 3: Withdraw your Harmony ONE to MetaMask.
For this, you have to open your Binance account, hover your mouse at “Wallet”, then click “Fiat and Spot”.
Click “Withdraw” and select Harmony ONE coin. Make sure to select the ONE Harmony as the Network.
As you can see in the image, the minimum withdrawal is 60 ONE and the network fee is 0.002 ONE.
Paste your one1 address here, fill out the fields, then click “Withdraw”.
It usually takes 3 to 5 minutes for the withdrawal to happen. Most major exchanges will notify you once it is done. Hope this helps!
